The wires start pulling out of the brick quickly - my mate's last replacement showed so much wire for so long that I expected it to give out six months ago. They were right - it was here before the week was out.
It's half the price. He's hard on his bricks and the original brand brick wore out after about two and a half years.
An inexpensive replacement for my husband's Toshiba notebook (we figure it's five years old now), it's not the quality of a real Toshiba power brick, but who cares. It wasn't this brand/seller -- it took quite a while to arrive the first time.I tried this seller because a reviewer commented on the speed of delivery.
We ordered a cheap replacement from Amazon and it suddenly gave out a few days ago,having lasted well over a year, probably 18 months. (I hate math).
One thing with these inexpensive bricks -- handle them gently. With this one, I wrapped the cord around the brick once and secured it so that when he inevitably yanks on it, it won't be traumatized so quickly.
Purchased this for my laptop after reading a few reviews. You can't beat the price - performance is excellent for my needs. Also - shipping was super fast.
Toshiba wanted $90 for a replacement AC adapter. This is way cheaper. The product is about 30% larger than the original Toshiba one, but it's a minor issue considering you are saving so much money. Also, the wire coming out of the adapter seems to be of higher quality.
I have a Toshiba A45-S150. This product works great, well design and looks like the original one. Excelente Quality.
